Nestled in the heart of rolling Surrey countryside, Queenwood is a traditional private golf club, mirroring the classic clubs which helped foster the ideals of the sport golfers so cherish. Conceived by Frederick D. Green, who brought to the UK his passion for creating exceptional golf clubs following highly successful openings at Eagle Springs in Vail and Nantucket Golf Club off the coast of Massachusetts, Queenwood is a club with proud U.S. roots and British golfing traditions.
David Kidd, known for his work at Bandon Dunes, Oregon, was hand-chosen to be the course architect. His commitment to “live on the golf course” during construction allowed Queenwood‘s course to open on schedule and set the bar for traditional heathland golf.
Queenwood‘s clubhouse is a sanctuary providing sophisticated tranquility on London‘s doorstep for members and their guests. A wide array of services are available throughout the year, from fine dining enhanced by an astute selection of exceptional wines to the unparalleled comfort of luxurious guestrooms. Queenwood‘s members all share a love for the game of golf, its traditions of sportsmanship and etiquette and its history.
