    In the spirit of Tavistock Cup competition, we have created an official dress code for the tournament; spectators are required to wear either ISLEWORTH RED to show their support for TEAM ISLEWORTH or LAKE NONA BLUE to show their support for TEAM LAKE NONA.

    We are sorry, but tickets are not available to the general public. Only members of Isleworth Golf & Country Club, members of Lake Nona Golf & Country Club, tournament sponsors, and VIP guests are allowed to attend this event.
  • If I can't get tickets to the tournament, how should I watch it?

    The 2008 Tavistock Cup will be broadcast on the Golf Channel. Times will be announced in January.

  • What time does the tournament start?

    Opening ceremonies for the 2008 Tavistock Cup are scheduled to begin at 10:15 a.m. on Monday, March 24th at the Isleworth driving range. Play is scheduled to begin at 11:05 a.m. on both days.
  • What playing format does the Tavistock Cup use?

    Round 1

    Round 1 will be Fourball Medal Match Play. Within the fourball, the two-person team with the lowest 18-hole better-ball total will win the match. Each win is worth 2 points, a tie is worth 1 point and a loss is worth 0 points. In total there will be 10 points awarded for Round 1.

    Round 2

    Round 2 will be a Fourball Singles Medal Match Play format. Each player in the group plays an 18-hole stroke play singles match against each of the opposing two players; therefore, each player plays two singles matches. If there is a two-ball match, each player will play a singles match against their opponent.  A win is worth 1 point, a tie is worth 1/2 point, and a loss is worth 0 points. In total there will be 21 points awarded for Round 2.

    As a result it will take 16 points to win the Tavistock Cup and be crowned World Golf and Country Club Champion.
  • Where should I park?

    When you receive your tickets you will also receive a parking permit. Please look on the back of the parking permit and follow the directions to the indicated lot. All spectators will be provided with complimentary shuttle service to the clubhouse.
  • Once I am at the tournament, what is the best way to follow the action?

    Make sure you check online (www.tavistockcup.com) on Sunday before the tournament to find your favorite players' tee-times. You can either follow them for all 18 holes or wait for the groups to play through on specific holes.
  • Can I bring a camera or cell phone?

    NO CELL PHONES OR CAMERAS WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY. Please leave these items in your car. Please understand this is a professional golf tournament and regular rules still do apply.
  • What happens if it rains?

    Please keep an eye on scoreboards located throughout the golf course for updates on weather conditions. If bad weather occurs, the scoreboard or a volunteer will assist you with finding the nearest shelter.
  • Can I ask a player for an autograph?

    Please refrain from asking any players for autographs during play. Some players choose to sign autographs after they sign their scorecard by the scorers' tent. Please give the professionals the same courtesy they receive at any other professional event.

    All players must be a member at either Isleworth or Lake Nona. The teams are then determined by World Golf Rankings and committee selections.
