Isleworth has deep roots in Florida's citrus heritage.  In the 1890's when cold weather created a fruit shortage, two brother's Sydney and Joshua Chase, located a verdant isle surrounded by warm lakes. In 1984 Arnold Palmer transformed this isle into a spectacular community encompassing one of his signature golf courses. This private residential country club community is located 20 minutes west of Orlando on 7 ½ miles of Central Florida's protected Butler Chain of Lakes, and has recently undergone a multi-million dollar enhancement to the 18- hole championship course by Steve Smyers. Additionally, the international auction house Sotheby's has once again selected Isleworth to host a private exhibit of 20 pieces of priceless, Modern Sculpture in mid-November. Isleworth has clearly established itself as one of the most beautiful and prestigious luxury communities in the world.
